Maria Bartiromo - the American television journalist and broadcaster who was among the first to broadcast live directly through the New York Stock Exchange - is well-known for a number popular shows that have been extremely successful. An experienced broadcaster with more than twenty years of experience covering economics and business, she played an integral role in establishing the television channel CNBC as among top-rated in the business and economy segment. Highly successful as a journalist, her career is proof that she was always destined to work in this area. However, as a young lady Maria was unsure of what career to pursue. One day she would want to be a singer then the next day, and an interior designer. Her interest was drawn by the thrilling world of journalism, and has never looked back. Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn was born in America and is a professional actress who has performed professionally for 27 years. She has been a professional actor for the past 27 years. She started her professional career in 1990, in a non Broadway production of The Big Funk, by John Patrick Shanley. The show was later adapted to her first TV role, The Perfect Tribute. The big break in her career came about in the year 1992, when she acted as a support character in Basic Instinct. In The Firm, she played the role of lead female for the first time. She was on the screen alongside Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. Throughout the 1990s she worked with some of the top stars in the industry including Gwyneth Paltrow as Sliding Doors Hugh Grant in Mickey Blue Eyes and Julie Andrews in Relative Values. Recenty, she played Dr Alex Blake (a police procedural-crime drama) in Criminal Minds.
