Annabelle Gurwitch

Annabelle Gurwitch (born April 14, 1970) is an American comedy actress, writer and TV host. Her most notable role was as the hostess of Dinner and a Movie. Also, she has an intense passion for environmental issues and humanism. Annabelle Gurwitch a New York Times best-selling writer, actress and critic of her autobiography, Wherever You Go Wherever You Go I'm sure you've made an Effort. Then you say Tomato. I say Shutup, and I Fired. The showtime comedy special was also produced by Annabelle Gulwitch. Gurwitch hosted Dinner & a Movie on TBS for a number of years. TV viewers may be familiar with her appearances on programs such as Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown, and the program on sustainability WA$TED that was shown through The Planet Green Network. The shows she has appeared on regularly include PBS Newhour Real Time Bill Maher and NPR. She also writes op eds which can be found in New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter and satires in The New Yorker & McSweeneys. Her work has been recognized by reviewers for her work on the stage in The New York Times and Los Angeles Times. Annabelle is a wise lady who shares her wisdom regarding aging, and also how to laugh at it in a youth-obsessed society.
