Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell is an American TV chef and ex-teacher at the Institute of Culinary Education. Anne Burrell. Burrell hosts of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef for Food Network. Food Network, as well as co-host of Worst Cooks in America. With her signature spiky blond hair and her pumped-up appearance, Anne Burrell eliminates the intimidation of eating out and offers straightforward, simple techniques to master for the at-home cook in her Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. The chef Burrell is also an experienced chef of New York City's best restaurants. She has also studied Italy's culinary tradition and the culture of Italy, along with the natural landscape. Growing up in the Upstate region of New York Chef Burrell was attracted by the food. The Culinary Institute of America was the next step for her when she earned the Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was the place where I experienced my most memorable time in my life. It was difficult to master how to do, or even work hard enough. After graduating at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners, Chef Burrell took a full year in Italy learning and working in La Taverna del Lupo restaurant in Umbria as well La Bottega del 30 one Michelin rating in Tuscany. During her time in Italy she came to appreciate and understand the philosophy of Italian food and culture that made a lasting impression on her culinary viewpoint. Burrell was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board to improve the lives of kids facing challenges. She is also a Juvenile Research Foundation Celebrity ambassador who promotes education about the condition known as juvenile diabetes. She has been a frequent to speak at conferences and tours across the nation in her mentorship task. Anne always felt fortunate that she was able to share her passion of her life, and her passion for cooking, with people around the world.
