Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American television chef and former Institute of Culinary Education instructor she is a popular TV host. Burrell hosts The Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef as well as co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef and her distinctive hairstyle and her pumped up personality, provides the basics of cooking that any person can master. The chef Burrell is also an experienced chef of New York City's best restaurants. She has also explored Italy's cuisine and culture, along with the natural geography. When she was a kid in Upstate New York Chef Burrell was attracted by the food. She pursued her passion for food and restaurant by enroling at The Culinary Institute of America following the completion of a bachelor's degree in English and Communication from Canisius College, Buffalo NY. The student says "I enjoyed being a Culinary Institute of America (CIA) student. I enjoyed every moment." I couldn't be more educated or accomplished in my studies. After graduating, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany as well as La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) during her time at an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. During her time in Italy she grew to truly comprehend and appreciate the philosophy behind Italian culinary and cultural traditions that has had a profound impact in her point of view. Burrell participates on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which brightens the lives of struggling children. Additionally, she is an Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Celebrity Advocate in which she promotes awareness of the condition of children with diabetes. She frequently travels around the country in her role as a mentor as well as a public speaker in which she speaks about her professional life and the joy of cooking. Anne said she felt lucky to be able to communicate her love of cooking to the people around her.
